Seals, different kinds of whales, arctic hares, arctic wolves and foxes, and the walrus are some of the animals that live in the Polar Regions. Place a picture of a globe on the board. Let children draw their favorite polar animals, and then pin it to the animal's location and habitat.

Tape the twine to your work surface so that the balloon remains at eye level while you add the face.

Do you think it would work to print out the designs on sticker paper and just stick them on the balloon rather than use double sided tape? No harm in testing it out though!I decided we needed one that looked more like an actual polar bear. Lorelai loved it! Being an animal lover and future zoologist, she was all about doing an updated version of this cute animal!
Instead of using textured paint or puffy paint, she decided to use tissue paper. I was surprised by her choice, but we went with it and it turned out really cool. Plus, tissue paper projects are always fun, if a bit messy. Directions: Fold your tissue paper several times and cut in to squares. Cut out the printable pieces. Glue down the tissue paper. Spread glue over each piece, then quickly add the tissue paper. Once dry, trim the tissue paper around the edges.
